We have had 2 tests performed to show the resilience and quality of our badges.
Our first test demonstrates the resistance of the badges to various chemicals to denote that they can withstand regular cleaning and do not exhibit any of the following:
- Discoloration.
- Deformation.
- Pigment leaching.
- Damage to the metallic popper fastenings.
- Mechanical performance.
- Reduction in tensile strength.

Our second test measures the maximum pull-off load in the force (measured in newtons) in separations of the badges to the hats which was represented by a person peeling the badge from the cap and releasing one fastener.
The results demonstrated of the badge & hat fastening system demonstrated that it is:
- Capable of a minimum of 400 peel separations/re-attachments and still performs as designed.
- There was no noticeable change in dimension for the male fasteners after testing.
- Performance was not affected after 400 separations.
- The materials supplied (hat, badge, fasteners) does not wear or change appearance when subjected to 400 separations.
- Is a suitable for its designed use (as a clinical hat with removable ID badges).
